On this small-group day tour from Reykjavík you visit two of Iceland's natural highlights: hot springs and glaciers! This tour starts with pickup from your Reykjavik hotel at 8:30am. You will then head to Hengill geothermal area where we'll take an easy hike past a series of beautiful hot springs to Reykjadalur valley Here you can enjoy a dip in a beautiful warm stream. Next we'll head east to the great Mýrdalsjökull glacier, one of Iceland's largest glaciers. There you will go on a safe glacier walk on crampons up onto the ice field. As we explore this wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and and deep crevasses, you will learn more about these disappearing giants. Finally on the way back to Reykjavik, we will make stops at the picturesque waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss before returning to your hotel at approximately 19.30-20:00.
