Your awesome journey starts with a pick up at your hotel. After that your Viking guide will take you to the youngest part of Iceland and tell you stories of elves and trolls. While driving the Reykjanes Peninsula you can enjoy all the lava fields around you on one side and the North Atlantic ocean on the other side. You will drive past old farms and the home of trolls.Your first stop is two lighthouses that are located just outside and old fishing village. The two lighthouses are located on the side of each other and both of them keeps a lot of history. One of them where built during the World War II. There you can see old wooden boat on dry.Continue you will head to the oldest fishing village on Reykjanes Peninsula. There you can visit an old black church that has an anchor from an old American ship that ran aground off the village in about 130 years ago.Next to this small and almost abandoned village you get the opportunity to see incredible cliffs named Hafnarberg. Breathing this fresh air straight from the North Atlantic ocean is so unique.Heading down the North America part of Iceland over to the European part of it, you will visit the bridge between two continents. There are not many places in the world that you can walk from America over to Europe and doing it on a bridge. Also you can stand between the two continents and literally be in no continent. There is popular to take a picture of oneself holding the bridge.A short drive down Europe you will visit Gunnuhver. Gunnuhver is a colourful hot spring area and it gets the name from an old woman that used to live there, named Gunna Now she is only a ghost and likes to visit everyone that comes there. When you stand there and feel warm and nice from the heat of from the ground and suddenly feel some cold coming down your neck, that is her breathing down your neck. Don´t worry though, she is not evil, she only likes to have her fun.After saying hello to Gunna, the oldest lighthouse in Iceland is next to her. Reykjanesiti or Reykjanes lighthouse. It is located on top of a hill like a boss. Standing next to it and enjoying the view over the cliffs next to it, the islands and the ocean is stunning. Also you get the opportunity to walk up to the cliffs and breathing the fresh air and marvel at the ocean.Next stop is nature made seawater tub filled with cold seawater named Brimketill. It is located in the cliffs by the ocean. It is amazing to bathe in, but that is only for the most extremist. So if you want to do that we recommend to bring swim wear and a towel.Your last stop before heading back to Reykjvik is the amazing walking path next to the Blue Lagoon. There you are surrounded by incredible lava fields.
