At the Icelandic Museum of Rock ‘n’ Roll you can walk through the history of Icelandic music throughout the years. Guests can dive deeper into the history of each artist and listen to their music with the help of the Rock ‘n’ Roll app on the iPads guests receive when entering the museum. At the museum guests will find a timeline of the history of Icelandic music, a cinema running documentaries about Icelandic music, a gift shop filled with music related goodies, a sound lab where you can try an electrical guitar or bass, an electronic drum kit and a karaoke booth - in case you'd like to sing your heart out! The Icelandic Museum of Rock 'n' Roll is a must for all music lovers!

The waters off the Reykjanes peninsula coast is an important habitat for these marine mammals, mainly as seasonal feeding ground, rich in plankton and offer fish like sand eel, herring, capelin, haddock and cod in the best possible conditions. Most common to find are white Beaked dolphins about 2,8m long, Minke whales 10m, Humpback whales 15m. Occasionally we can spot Orcas up to 9m long, Sei whales 19 m and Fin whales 22m appear at the surface.All our boat trips are a subject to weather conditions.If the tour is cancelled because of bad weather, we offer a Reykjanes Peninsula Upgrade.Please note that this tour requires a 4 passenger minimum. if we do not reach the minimum of 4 passengers the tour may be cancelled.

First off we start by going on the exhibition in Gardur Lighthouse, after that the hunt begins (could be the other way around, no tour is the same.) The guide has a camera with him and will happily take a photo of you with the northern lights if we are lucky enough for them to appear!Photos will then be uploaded on Facebook in the next few days after for you to collect.

We go an extra mile to make sure you have the best possible experience! We will pick you up in Reykjavik with our comfortable 4X4 modified jeep to drive out of the city and its light pollution. According to the cloud coverage, we will drive to places where we think you will have better chances to see the Northern Lights. A few examples: Kleifarvatn Lake, where you will be able to see the green reflections of the Aurora in the water or Thingvellir National Park to spot the Aurora dancing above the mountains. The tour takes approximately 3 hours after which we will drop you off at your accommodation.

From Reykjavik, we drive to Raufarhólshellir, one of the most significant lava tunnels in Iceland, where a local guide will tell us all about its spectacular colors and rock formations.After an hour-long tour of the tunnel, we head to the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula, home of the Reykjanes Geopark, UNESCO site and one of Iceland’s geological gems, a place rich in geothermal energy, seismic activity, and tectonic movements.We will visit the beautiful lakes Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn, the multi-colored hills on Krýsuvík and the geothermal areas of Seltún and Gunnuhver with their hot spring and mud pools and much more.After all the sightseeing, we will make a stop at the Blue Lagoon. Here you will have time to walk around and take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue pool. If you wish, you can take a relaxing bath in the warm lagoon while enjoying a drink or put some silica mask over your body. (Entrance tickets must be purchased in advance)
