Revel in Iceland's long summer days on a 2-day Short Break tour along the South Shore. Visit the town Vík, the national park Skatafell, go on a glacier walk, and admire the ice bergs at the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. You will stay overnight at a 4-star hotel in the South.
The South Coast of Iceland offers endless beautiful sights, and on this two-day, small-group tour, you will start your day early with your driver guide picking you up from your accommodation in Reykjavik in a comfortable mini-van. Then you will be heading East into the increasingly stunning scenery. You will pass countless waterfalls, majestic glaciers and black deserts. Don't worry as you will have plenty of time to stop and explore those sights better on the way back, but now you are heading toward one of Iceland's many glaciers for a thrilling glacier walk. After exploring these magnificent natural wonders, you continue toward your luxurious 4-star hotel, but not before stopping at the delightful little village Vík. The next day you begin by traveling further east to admire the floating icebergs of Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and the Black Diamond Beach. After that you will start heading back to Reykjavik, breaking up the long drive with a hike up to Svartifoss waterfall in Skaftafell national park, a visit to the black sand beach Reynisfjara, and stops at the impressive waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss. When you arrive in Reykjavik later in the afternoon/evening, you will have experienced everything the South has to offer.
