Hostelworld

This is a tough nut to crack. When is a hostel not a hostel? When it’s a string of apartments spread throughout Lipótváros, for which the good folk at reception (open 10am to 2pm daily) opposite the Basilica of St Stephen in Szent István tér will organise a bed or a room for the night.

The public areas around reception – lounge, huge modern kitchen with wooden floor, laundry room – and the balcony looking right onto the basilica are impassive, as is the naive artwork throughout. This place with the friendly name is certainly a cut above the rest.

conditions

Our reception desk is open from 9 am to 2 am every day. We will contact you for detailed information about your arrival - such as train or flight details - a few days before your arrival. Please note that you can take your room from 14:00. If you arrive earlier we can lock up your luggage at the reception from 9 am. We can pick you up at the airport for €24 for 1-4 people; this means if there’s four of you it’s only €6 per person, while public transport is about €2.50 per person. Please send us an email if you're interested. Our reception's address is Szent Istvan ter 3, doorbell no. 15. Please also note that we aren't able to accept credit card payments so your remaining balance should be paid in cash.
