Learn to eat and drink Hungarian. We start the tour with a visit to a traditional market, to check, what Hungarians buy to cook when it turns on traditional Hungarian cuisine? Hungarians are definitely not vegetarians, meat is an essential element in the kitchen. So, we drop in to a Hungarian butcher, just to take a closer look on meat delicacies, as szalámi, kolbász, hurka, tepertő, sonka and disznótoros. Bread is also an important part of repasts in Hungary, not to talk about salt and sweet baker’s wares like kifli, zsemle, dióscsiga. All we check – and taste - in a traditional artisan bakery. Hopefully by this time everybody is prepared for a traditional Hungarian lunch or dinner, accompanied by pálinka and wine tasting. Finally we see, what to have for dessert in Hungary? Beside a good coffee you can taste Dobos or Esterhazy cake, rétes or krémes.
