The four wood-clad rooms in this homely B&B nestled in a junglelike garden have a cabin-in-the-woods feel but offer a fine sense of originality. The two upstairs rooms get more light, while the Katimini has more character, with Creole ceilings, parquet flooring and colourful paintings. Avoid the Do-Myel room, which feels a bit boxy. The tiny pool is an added bonus.
Creole-inspired table d'hôte dinners (€15) can be arranged if there's a minimum of six guests; the food is great and varied, with home-grown vegetables.
