Continuing along the island's western coast, turn onto a tiny mountain road that leads to the perfectly picturesque Concord Waterfalls -- a set of three waterfalls, in the lush mountain lands with lots of spice trees and small houses with flower gardens. You can swim in the waterfall if you wish, the water is cool and leaves you wonderfully refreshed. These falls are set in rich agricultural land with lots of nutmeg trees and small houses with flower gardens. You can walk down to the falls here if you wish and take a swim. The water is cool and leaves you wonderfully refreshed. Carrying on to the fishing town of Gouyave and spice processing station, where you can see why the island is called the "Isle of Spice" and how the spices are processed after picking, in much the same way that has been done for a hundred years. Visit the Diamond chocolate factory, where you can walk through the cocoa fields and harvested and learn how chocolate is made, in addition to a tasting.  Then head the north of Grenada for an authentic local restaurant for a traditional Grenadian lunch, allowing yourself to relax for approx. 45-55 minutes before the second half of the tour begins.     Your next stop is the River Antoine Rum Distillery on the island's northeast coast. The oldest functioning water-powered distillery in the eastern caribbean. It dates back to the 1700s and continues to produce its potent Rum the same way it was done centuries ago. You have an opportunity to tour and sample this potent liquor. A tour of Grenada would not be complete without visiting the island's interior, so head inland, traversing centuries old plantations to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest, in Grenada's largest national park before heading down the mountain, and back to your hotel or pick-up location.
