Flights & getting there
Busy passenger-only Ilida hydrofoils link Paxi's ferry port at Gaïos with Corfu Town (€25, 55 to 90 minutes, three to eight daily, mid-March to mid-October) and occasionally with Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland. A slower but cheaper service on the Corfu Town route (€20, 90 minutes, one to three daily, April to October) is provided by Kamelia Lines, while car ferries also link Paxi with Igoumenitsa (passenger/vehicle €11/42.30, one to three daily, April to October). Fast sea taxis are available on demand; Corfu to Paxi costs €330 with Paxos Sea Taxi.
Regular excursion boats run from Gaïos to Antipaxi (€10 return) in summer from June onwards.
A direct bus connects Athens with Paxi (€71 including Igoumenitsa–Paxi ferry, seven hours) once a week in high season. On Paxi, get tickets from New Plans.
