All buses depart from the KTEL bus station, just over 2km southeast from the centre (around €5 by taxi).

For Iti National Park, head to Ipati (€2.40, 40 minutes, five to seven daily) via Loutra Ipatis (€1.90).

Train

Lamia’s main train station, named Lianokladi though not actually in Lianokladi itself, is 6km west of the town centre. Buy tickets from Lamia’s OSE ticket office, linked with the Lianokladi station by an OSE shuttle bus. Normal and Intercity (IC) trains run to Athens (€16.80 to €26.70, 2½ to four hours) and Thessaloniki (€34.80, 2¾ hours to 4½ hours).
