Day trips head from Pigadia up to Diafani, where they connect with buses to Olymbos, or continue north to remote beaches.
KTEL runs buses all over the island from the bus station in Pigadia, just up from the harbour. In summer, there's a daily departure to/from Apella Beach and around four weekly services to Finiki. There's a daily summer service to southern beaches though these change seasonally; check the return times before you head off. Between two and four buses a week go all the way north to Olymbos.
Car & Motorcycle
All major car-rental chains have outlets at the airport, and there are local agencies mainly based in Pigadia, but also in resort towns. A recommended operator is Euromoto run by English-speaking George; it has four offices around the island.
Taxi prices are posted at Pigadia’s central taxi rank. Fares are prohibitively high, with trips to Lefkos costing €60 and Olymbos €85.
