Flights

Getting around by air

Mykonos Airport, 3km southeast of the town centre, has flights year-round to Athens with Sky Express (www.skyexpress.gr) and Aegean Airlines (www.aegeanair.com), among others, and to Thessaloniki with Astra Airlines (www.astra-airlines.gr) and Aegean Airlines.

From May to mid-September, direct European connections are plentiful, including easyJet flights from London, Geneva, Paris, Rome and Milan, and Air Berlin flights from German and Austrian hubs.

Transport Options

Buses from the southern bus station serve Mykonos’ airport (€1.60). Some hotels and guesthouses offer free airport and port transfers. Otherwise, arrange airport transfer with your accommodation (around €7) or take a taxi to town (€10).
