Footpaths from both beaches and from the island’s totally undeveloped harbour, 600m south of Voutoumi, climb to Antipaxi’s central spine, where the 'village' of Vigla consists of a few scattered villas, with no centre or commercial activity. Keep walking to reach the wilder and beach-less western coast within a few minutes, or head for the lighthouse at the island's southernmost tip; take plenty of water and allow at least 1½ hours each way.

Rental properties on Antipaxi are generally available by the week only.

Beach tavernas cater to day trippers but close at night, and Antipaxi has no shops, so anyone staying overnight needs to be self-sufficient.
