ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Egremni Beach, Lefkada, Ionian IslandsEgremni is ranked as one of the best beaches of the European continent, along with Porto Katsiki and Kathisma. It lies on the southwestern coast of the island and due to its length (almost 3 km) it never gets too crowded no matter the cruise ships which sometimes drop tourists. After the last earthquake in 2015, the access to this stunning and authentic beach became even harder than before. The landslides triggered by the seism destroyed the path and covered part of the beach. You would have had to descent about 300 steps to reach a small heaven. Nowadays, however, the only option is to arrive by boat. Nature restores itself in slow rhythms by washing out the landslides material. While approaching the coast, you will get the vibes of the area. Look around you to realize the spectacular landscape: green vegetation reaches the edge of the white limestone and then gets merged with the turquoise waters.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesStop At: Porto Katsiki, Lefkada, Ionian IslandsPorto Katsiki beach on Lefkada Island is one of the most beautiful Greek beaches. It is also in the top of the list of best beaches in Europe each year. It is situated 40 kilometers southwest of Lefkada Town, the island’s capital city. Porto Katsiki beach looks truly fascinating surrounded by incredible hills which make it accessible only by 80 steep steps descending along the cliff. This is one of the most favorite beaches and it is considered to be one of the island’s major attractions. Porto Katsiki owes its fame to fascinating landscape and most of all, crystal clear blue sea. Golden sandy beach adds a beauty to the overall impression of Porto Katsiki.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesStop At: Fiscardo Harbor, Fiscardo, Cephalonia, Ionian IslandsFiscardo is located on the northern tip of Kefalonia in an area so beautiful that the Greek government has protected it by law. Around Fiscardo, dense forests reach down to innumerable small coves where pebble beaches are lapped by crystal clear water.Uniquely in Kefalonia, Fiscardo retains the architecture and ambience of a by-gone era – a time when the Venetians ruled Kefalonia. The picturesque harbour is surrounded by Venetian-style houses painted in pastel colours, in summer the harbour is filled with vessels from small sailing boats to large yachts all nestled together a few feet from pavement restaurants and cafes specialising in traditional Greek cuisine.Kefalonia is the largest of the seven Ionian Islands and Fiscardo is one of 365 villages on the island. Exploring the island by sea and land is a journey of endless discovery – remember this is Greece where you can turn a corner and find yourself in front of an ancient temple.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesStop At: Papanikolis Cave, Lefkada, Ionian IslandsThis cave shot into prominence during World War II by virtue of being a secret hideaway for the submarine Papanikolis. The sheer magnitude of The cave is astounding. It is believed that the Papanikolis submarine would tuck up inside this mammoth cave after its blitzkrieg on the Italian armada. First-time visitors will live an awesome experience. The remarkable Papanikolis Cave is actually the second largest cave in Greece. It is not an authentic sea cave, but a karst cave, and is presently partially inundated by the sea. This cave was much preferred by the ships that would drop anchor inside the cave during spells of inclement weather. Duration: 15 minutes
