The museum’s exhibition area is distributed over 4 levels and has images of Greek history from antiquity to present.Duration: 2 hoursStop At: Floating Naval Museum Battleship Averof, Paleo Faliro, AtticaAfter visiting the Athens War Museum, you will be driven to the “G. Averof ” battle ship Museum. The Battleship Averof, the most significant Greek naval vessel, played a crucial part in the history of the Hellenic Navy during the Balkan War (1912-1913). It was commissioned in 1911 and remained in active service for over a period of 44 years. Today, the ship stands as a monument to Greece’s navy and modern history. The battle ship serves its educational purposes by hosting day visiting from school, institutions, organization and private individuals.Duration: 1 hourStop At: Palaio Faliro CemeteryThe last stop will be at the Phaleron War Cemetery.
