I’m going to Busua this weekend with some friends but we’re all leaving after work (~5pm) and can’t find any buses (VIP/STC) that late. Does anyone have any info on any buses (or trotros if that’s the only option) that leave that late??
Any other useful info on getting to busua is welcome! It looks like kind of a hassle
Currently at biakpa mountain paradise lodge and we’re trying to get to Wli in the morning. The owner of the hostel is telling us that it’s a 300 cedi taxi and there’s no other way to get there but I feel like that’s fake so does anyone have info to get from biakpa/fume to Wli falls?
Today is state holiday in Ghana, so I was told on ghanian embassy that in my country of residence (I am from Shengen country / EU) they will not be able to issue me visa before my flight to West Africa.
I will be in Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin (and before in Tunis).
I find some older post that maybe in Abijan is again possible to get visa for Ghana.
Can anyone confirm it, please?
I’m thinking of doing a weekend trip from Accra to Ada Foah, does anyone have recommendations on places to stay/things to do?? Also can you swim there?? And about how long is it from Accra? (Google maps says 1h30 but I feel like that’s wrong)
Just returned from Ghana : Accra plus various locations along coast to Azim. Amongst this trip I stayed at one privately ran orphanage in Accra and an Eco (Environmental) beach lodge complex in Azim. Here are my observations of both:
Orphanage: did not match the website or agent promises; no safeguarding, no transparency or documented accounts on finance. Was promised a learning environment but it just consisted of about 20 teenagers; some of whom went to school and some just did chores for…
Hey all! I'm headed to Ghana in a few days and I'm wondering what I can expect from ATMs? ie Which ones have cheapest withdrawal fees and how much money can I take out at a time?

Thanks in advance :)
Hi forum - I’m in Mole National Park and would like to visit the Volta region. The shortest and most interesting route looks to be over the north east of the lake, something like: Tamale - Yendi - Bimbila - Hohoe.
Has anyone done this route recently? Is it possible? How?
Any advice is much appreciated as there doesn’t seem to be much knowledge on the ground about that area!
