The tour of the city will take into consideration various aspects of the city with visits to the Okomfo Anokye Sword site where this mysterious priest who conjured the golden stool embodying the soul of Ashanti from the sky drove a sword into the ground in 1697 predicting that no one could ever pull it out of its place. Other places of interest will include the Prempeh II Museum where you will find a replica and the fake golden stool presented to the British. You will continue to the Manhyia Palace which has served as the seat of the Ashanti monarchy since 1924 and the Military Museum.
