Welcome to Nymphenburg, Neuhausen & Olympiapark
Occupying a huge swath of northwest Munich, the neighbourhoods of Nymphenburg, Neuhausen and the Olympiapark are a varied trio. The Olympiapark is mostly about one thing – the venues left over from the 1972 summer games. Unlike some infamous cases, Munich has made good use of its Olympic legacy, which has been earning the city money since the last gold medal was bitten. Nymphenburg is all about its royal palace, Munich's finest, while little-visited and mostly residential Neuhausen has Europe's largest beer garden.
