Restaurant Dürkheimer Fass

German in Bad Dürkheim

This convivial spot occupies the landmark Dürkheimer Riesenfass, the world's largest wine barrel, which has had a restaurant inside since a master cooper built it out of 200 pine trees in 1934. Dishes range from Leberk Nödel (liver dumplings) to Jägerschnitzel (schnitzel with forest mushroom sauce) and Zander (perch fillet) with Grüne Sosse (green sauce). There's a summer beer garden.

Small versions of adult dishes are available for kids.
