Tusheti has plenty of guesthouses. They operate only when the road is open and some don’t get going till July. Nearly all have shared bathrooms with (usually) hot showers. Only some have electricity in the rooms, though there's usually a plug in the kitchen or elsewhere for charging phones.
Most people stay in the older Zemo (Upper) Omalo, where those picturesque towers are situated, but there are also options in Kvemo (Lower) Omalo, 1.5km down the hill.
Everywhere in Shenaqo has electricity thanks to its one-village hydro scheme.
