Winter is coming! Have a wonderful experience in a Georgian ski resort surrounded by fascinating Caucasian mountains. With so much to see and do, one of the best things about travelling Georgia in winter is the mix of cultural and outdoor activities. With our professional guide, you will explore historical gems like ancient Jvari monastery and Ananuri fortress. Before reaching Gudauri you will stop at Russia-Georgia’s friendship monument which was built in 1983 to commemorate the treaty of Georgievsk. After, you will enjoy skiing in Gudauri, one of the best ski resort in south Caucasus, which is 120 km far from the capital (Tbilisi) and resides at the slope of the Big Caucasian Ridge (2196 m
Our driver and guide will meet you up at your hotel at 08:30. On the way to Gudauri, you will visit Jvari monastery  Ananuri fortress adn Jhinvali Water reservoir. You will enjoy the breathtaking views of the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from Jvari monastery. With our guide, you will get knowledge about Ananuri complex, which was the former residence of Argveti dukes. After exploring those places you will get the chance to taste famous Georgian cuisine called khinkali, a Georgian dumpling, stuffed with meat and spices. You will learn the art of eating khinkali only with hands. On the way to Gudauri, you will make a stop at Russia-Georgia’s friendship monument with a stunning panorama on the valley and mountains. This monument overlooks a Jinvali water reservoir blue lake, which is beautiful at any time. In Gudauri, while skiing or snowboarding on the slopes of Caucasian mountains you can enjoy yourself. You will leave Gudauri at 17:00 to Tbilisi.Gudauri – young and rapid developing winter sports resort located at Kazbegi region of Georgia, 120 km from Tbilisi, at the height of 2,196 m (about 7,200 feet) near the Cross Pass. Skiing season lasts from December to April, comfort skiing on all routes. In May skiing is possible on the five (highest) lift or even on the second lift in snow years.Heli Ski is available throughout the season!
