Pick up from Tbilisi hotel and depart to the West Georgia via main highway. First visit the J. Stalin’s house-museum located in the town of Gori. The museum presents items belonging to J. Stalin. Afterwards drive to the Uplistsikhe cave town. Uplistsikhe is the first settled area mentioned in manuscripts dating from 2nd millennium BC and translates literally in English as “the fortress of God”. The town was an important point on the trade route linking Byzantium, India and China. The archaeological excavations uncovered several layers dating from Early Iron Age to the late Middle Ages.Drive to Kutaisi via Rikoti Pass and explore handmade wooden baskets and ceramic crafts. Kutaisi is the second largest city of Georgia and based on archaeological sources it was the capital of the Colchis Kingdom in the 2nd millennium BC. Take a nice walk through Kutaisi old town.Overnight in Kutaisi Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Prometheus caves - one of the most popular and largest international tourist caves, and includes various types of stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, petrified waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers, and lakes. The cluster of six caves differs significantly from each other in scale and the unique shapes of petrified flowstones found within.Continue to the Okatse Canyon-famous forits magnificent wild nature, astonishing waterfalls and breathtaking views. Located in the Western Georgia, near the village of Gordi, the canyon runs roughly for 14 kilometers, width ranges from 3-6 to 15-20 meters, while its depth is between 20-100 meters.After sightseeing drive back to Tbilisi .
