These four clean and brightly coloured bungalows on stilts are perched on the side of a flowery hill. There are beautiful views over the valley from the bungalows and also from the restaurant/common area where they're framed by giant tiki carved by the owner, Raphael. The pension is run by Raphael's hip son Raiarii, who keeps it updated and fresh.
If you're looking for a convenient location (it's two steps outside Vaipaee) plus comforts such as hot water and wi-fi on 'Ua Huka, this place is your best bet. Meals use local fish and produce, and are simple but delicious.
