In a minibus of maximum 8 persons, I will pick you up between 8:00 and 10:00 am at your hotel, your résidence or your boat. - You will start the day visiting "les calanques de Cassis" by boat. And if weather permit it you will swim in Mediteranean blue water. Creeks are a succession of coves extending about more than twenty kilometers of Mediterranean coastline between Marseille and Cassis. For language convenience, this mountain group is also called Massif des Calanques. It is one of the most remarkable natural sites in France. The word calanques (Provencal calanco) means a valley dug by a river, then recovered by the sea. Calanques benefit from the protection of the national park created in April 2012 and which is the first peri-urban national park of Europe. In order to re-stock the sea, some park areas are prohibited from fishing to serve as natural nurseries. - For lunch you will have free time in Cassis where you can either take a pic-nic or find a good restaurant. - Then we will leave in the afternoon to Le Castellet village. One of a hilltop famous provencal village. You will find, in this pedestrian village, a strong history, nice shop and a taste of provencal manufactured souvenirs.
