Cy’clic, Rouen’s version of Paris’ Vélib’, lets you rent a city bike from 24 locations. Credit-card registration for one/seven days costs €1/7, plus a deposit of €150. Use is free for the first 30 minutes; the second/third/fourth and subsequent half-hours cost €1/2/4 each.
Rouen's public transport is operated by Réseau Astuce (www.crea-astuce.fr). A single-journey ticket costs €1.60.
Free parking is available near the Boulingrin metro terminus, 1.5km northeast of the cathedral (arrive before 7am or after 7pm for better luck getting a spot), and at Parking du Mont Riboudet (next to the Palais des Sports), 2.7km northeast of the cathedral; the latter is linked to the centre by buses T1, T2 and T3.
