Le Cochon à l'Oreille

French in Louvre & Les Halles

A Parisian jewel and listed monument, the hole-in-the-wall Le Cochon à l’Oreille retains 1890-laid tiles depicting vibrant market scenes of the old halles, while an iron staircase leads to a second dining room upstairs. Bistro-style dishes are traditional French (the steak tartare is excellent), and are accompanied by well-chosen wines. Hours can vary. Cash only.
