This cult 1950s bistro with original bar, leather banquette seating and floral wallpaper sizzles with contemporary glamour thanks to celebrity French chef Cyril Lignac who lures a gourmet crowd here with his modern bistro cuisine: veal sweetbreads, côte de boeuf for two or scallops with celeriac and a peppery coconut cream.

End on a sweet high with soupe chocolat au lait (chocolate soup) with chilli-hazelnut ice-cream. Sunday brunch (€49) is a particularly vibrant, fabulous affair.
