Packed with eateries of every imaginable type, Le Marais is one of Paris’ premier dining neighbourhoods with many restaurants and bistros requiring a reservation. Despite the huge concentration of eating addresses, new openings pop up seemingly every week. Multi-ethnic Belleville is tops for Asian fare. Some of the Bastille and Eastern Paris neighbourhood's best neobistros are within easy walking distance of Cimetière du Père Lachaise.
Asian Eat Streets
Paris' largest Chinatown is on the Left Bank in the 13e but on the Right Bank, Belleville is home to a small but thriving Chinatown around the Belleville metro station, at the nexus of the 10e, 11e, 19e and 20e arrondissements, with hole-in-the-wall eateries through to large restaurants and Asian supermarkets. In the 3e, rue au Maire, 3e (metro Arts et Métiers) is a small restaurant- and shop-lined street with authentic Chinese food.
