Hidden down a stone-paved alley behind a high wall, this mansion is one of the city's most magical addresses. Its five sweeping designer suites are decorated with retro flea-market finds, but it's the garden, designed by landscape architect Louis Benech, and fashionable cocktail bar that really stun. Ring the buzzer outside the unmarked black-gated entrance at No 23.
Guests have free access to the exclusive pétanque (similar to bowls) pitch next door. Reservations are essential for weekend brunch (€38) at the equally coveted on-site restaurant.
Nestled within a private garden, Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is an all-suite hotel set in an 19th-century townhouse. Amenities include an elegant restaurant, a refined cocktail bar and landscaped gardens with a pétanque court. Sacré-Coeur is at 600 metres. Each with its unique decoration, the five suites have been decorated by local artists. They are spread across the hotel's three floors. Bathrobes and a hairdryer are provided. The hotel restaurant Le Mandragore proposes gourmet dinners, weekend brunches and country-style picnics. Dinner is served in the garden, weather permitting. At Le Très Particulier, the cocktail bar, you can sample signature cocktails and tasty tapas. La Cigale Concert Hall is 700 metres from Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, while Mathurins Theatre is 1.8 km away. Paris - Orly Airport is 18 km from the property.
The restaurant will be undergoing renovations until 1 April 2018 daily from 9:00 to 17:00. During this time, check-in will therefore be in the conservatory. Please take the right staircase to go down to the bar. The bar will remain open during renovations, offering its cocktail menu every day of the week from 18:00 to 2:00 and tapas from Wednesday to Sunday from 19:00 to 23:00.
