It's hard to walk down the street here for more than a minute without running into an intriguing bar, cafe or nightspot. Rue Bonaparte is the best street for bar-hopping, but there are plenty of other great options on the streets between place Garibaldi and the port, including rue Cassini, rue Lascaris and rue Bavastro. Quai des Deux Emmanuels on the east side of the port is a supremely atmospheric spot for late-afternoon aperitifs, with the setting sun casting a golden glow on the harbour's multihued façades.
