Generations of travellers have passed through Jean-Marie’s rambling 3rd-floor apartment, where all the rooms have been decorated with potted plants, items collected on his travels and a faintly bohemian, hippie-hangover style (one room’s styled after Frida Kahlo, another stuffed with ’70s kitsch, while others have African and Asian flavours). It’s a bit faded in spots, and cheaper rooms share bathrooms.
With a simple but atmospheric décor, rooms at Hôtel Wilson can have private or shared bathroom and include a desk, a wardrobe and a TV. Some rooms open onto a balcony overlooking Nice's rooftops.
A continental breakfast is served daily in the hotel’s dining room, but you can also request it in the comfort of your room.
In the surrounding area you will find many bars, restaurants and shops and the famous Promenade des Anglais is only 800 metres away. Nice Train Station is a 16-minute walk.
