For a town its size, Narbonne isn't exactly brimming with sleeping options, but there are plans to open more establishments by 2020. There are some appealing places in the surrounding countryside, though, and Narbonne is well connected to Béziers and Montpellier should you decide to visit it on a day trip.

The town's best restaurants centre on its wonderful covered market, Les Halles, and along both sides of the Canal de la Robine.

Drinking & Nightlife

Drinking is best along both banks of the canal, with views of the passing boats.
