Welcome to Île de Bréhat
Île de Bréhat, a tiny island 8km to the north of Paimpol, stretches just 5km from north to south. It's known for its beautiful coastline (but beaches are sparse) and an unusually balmy climate. The most idyllic time to visit is in spring, when gorgeous Mediterranean wildflowers bloom in its gentle microclimate – it is known as the island of flowers.
Bréhat is completely car-free, so the only way to get around is by bike or on foot. For more on the island and the services available, see www.brehat-infos.fr.
