Car & Motorcycle

Driving in the Old Town, with its many one-way streets and barrier-blocked pedestrian zones, can be a headache. There are a dozen paid parking lots in town; for free parking you have to head to parcs relais (park and ride lots, linked by frequent buses); the biggest is in Chambéry-Sonnaz on D991 (8km north).
