Tour description provided by Viator

A fantastic day out with a visit to one of Burgundy's best farmers' markets (Toucy on Saturday & or Chablis on Sunday). Learn about and taste some superb wines in the heart of the stunning countryside of Northern Burgundy. You will discover the world-famous vineyards and wines of Chablis as well the nearby but lesser-known wine growing districts of the Auxerrois where you will also taste superb red and lesser-known white wines. Another "must" is a short drive to the nearby medieval village of Noyers-sur-Serein to admire the ancient timber-framed buildings. There is also the option (price not included minimum 6 guests) to accompany a local truffle farmer and his dog (no pigs I'm afraid!), as he hunts for these elusive mushrooms and then return to his home in order to taste some of these rare « black diamonds ». During your trip you will discover a truly authentic wine growing region with beautiful landscapes and timeless villages.
