Flights & getting there
The rural bus network is a bit patchy outside of Arles, but there are links between most larger towns and villages.
Arles is the Camargue's principal point on the rail network, with connections to Marseille every hour or two (€17, one hour). You can also get a train from Nîmes to Aigues-Mortes (€16, 45 minutes to 1¼ hours, up to six daily).
For drivers, the A54 will get you from Nîmes to Arles in 35 minutes, while it's just over an hour on the A54 and A7 to Marseille.
