You'd expect to find a sumptuous 18th-century château with a conifer-flanked courtyard and stable house in the countryside, but this stunning maison d'hôte hidden behind a high stone wall is right in the middle of the city. It is part of the prestigious Châteaux & Hotels Collection, with sumptuous rooms to match. Public areas include a lovely library. Breakfast costs €14–16. The hotel is closed for two weeks in January.
From Monday to Saturday, the reception is open from 8:00 until 21:00 and on Sunday from 8:30 until 20:00.
