Depart from Bordeaux - the drive to Dordogne takes over 2.5 hours, its good to get an early startLascaux International center for Parietal Art: We'll visit Lascaux IV - a perfect replica of the original cave,  Lascaux IV opened its brand new state-of-the-art reproduction in late 2016.The polychromatic paintings were recreated just like the originals - 17, 000 years ago, using natural pigments and similar tools. But we'll also visit the grotte de Rouffignac (cavern), where you can see a fabulous collection of original prehistoric art - here you get to see the real thing, not a replica. You'll see many woolly mammoth drawings, along with horses, aurochs, antelope, woolly rhinos, etc.Les Eyzies de Tayac is a lovely little town in Dordogne to visit. You might like to stop for lunch here and take a quick tour of the National Prehistoric Museum. If time permits, we'll drive by the spectacular cliff dwellings at La Roque St. Christophe before returning to Bordeaux
