In this full-day tour, you will discover the wonderful region of Burgundy and its world class wines made of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. You will see just some of the patchwork of over 1, 200 plots, or climates, recognized by UNESCO as being unique to Burgundy region. Along the trip, you will enjoy some beautiful wine tasting commented by the winemakers, cross some prestigious scenic vineyards and learn short stories about this region with your local guide.
Your tour starts at 9:30 a.m. when your guide will pick you up at your hotel. Then, it's time to start your Burgundy wine tour with your first wine tasting in a family run winery in Aloxe-Corton including tasting of Grand Crus Corton Charlemagne.Have a second private wine tasting in a château and a visit of the old cellar of the château.Take your lunch in a gastronomic restaurant in Pernand-Vergelesses (not included). Drive up the village to a spot with a panoramic view of the vineyards.Your tour continues with the visit of a winery in the Haute Côte de Nuits area (Arcenant) and another wine tasting is awaiting for you.Your guide will then take you for a sightseeing tour in the famous vineyards of Vosne-Romanée, location of some of the greatest red grand crus wines such as Romanée Conti. Your next stop is the visit of the Clos de Vougeot, the famous Château belonging to the Cistercian monks, beating heart of the vineyards in Burgundy since the Middle Ages. Your last wine tasting will be in Chambolle Musigny.At the end of the tour, at around 6:30 p.m., your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
