You'll be visiting 3 different cellars in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, given details about the making of wine and the different terroirs. You'll be tasting wines and match them with artisan made chocolate from a local chocolate maker.
Having worked with 3 of the most renowned cellars in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for 3 years, I will be delighted to tell you about all the mysteries and secrets of this fantastic terroir! You'll be visiting great cellars in Châteauneuf-du-Pape from very old tiny cellars to bigger and more modernised ones. You'll be Lucky to be in one of the most picturesque and authentic vineyard in France as Châteauneuf has remained the same through time -unlike many other French Vineyards!- and faithful to its tradition and ancestral way of working the land and making wine. The region is also well-renowned for its "artisans chocolatiers" who are real chefs in chocolate and certified as such. The variety is just amazing as well as the different tastes of course! From milk white to dark displaying different crus, you'll be amazed about how wine has so much in common with chocolate. This tour is not available at the weekend as the cellars are closed.
