Tour description provided by Viator

Join me on a 3-hour afternoon walking tour of historical Avignon. I'll lead you to some of my favorite spots for sightseeing and  show you where (and what) the locals are eating (and drinking!) Along the way we will taste some delicious local specialties, such as  fruits confits (candied fruits) with high quality local wines.
On this fun-filled 3-hour walking tour we'll discover the best of beautiful Avignon. I'll take you to some of my favorite cultural and historic landmarks, including the Pope Palace and Pont Saint-Bénézet bridge. We'll also stop at some great foodie places to try the classic flavors of the region. One of the most popular specialties of Avignon are sweet fruitsconfits (candied fruits), which we will have the chance to taste along the way. And what goes better with French food than some equally delicious local French wine? I'll show you some of my favorite white, red and rose wines of the Rhone Valley.  Tuesday to Sunday Start Time 5:00pm Duration 3h Hôtel de ville, Place de l’Horloge, Avignon From 70.00 € EN, FR From 2 to 10 people
