Pick up in Sarlat. You will discover the traces left by our ancestors and a collection of machinery recontructed in honour of the great medieval builders.After the visit, arrive in Les Eyzies for a short stop at the International Center for Prehistory. End your day with a visit of the mighty castle of Castelnaud. Built on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the Château de Castelnaud offers a magnificent panoramic view over the Dordogne Valley. Founded in the 12th century, it is a perfect example of a medieval fortress. Return to Sarlat.
