Overlooking a hilly park, this art-nouveau building was the home of a shipyard magnate. Nowadays it's a truly atmospheric place to stay, with classical music playing in the lift and a resident parrot in the lobby. Its 20 rooms are decorated in a lovably chintzy style. This is the antithesis of a chain hotel, thanks to the owners' wonderful hospitality.
Situated in an Art Nouveau building from 1902, this hotel is in a peaceful but central location, 300 metres from Turku Train Station. Private parking and public area WiFi are free. The individually decorated rooms at the Park Hotel feature a separate seating area with antique furnishings. Each also has cable TV, a minibar and wooden floors. A relaxation option includes an on-site bookable sauna. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the cosy garden or on the furnished terrace. Park Hotel is next to the attractive Puolalanpuisto Park. The Turku Art Museum is located at the other end of the park, a 4-minute walk away. Guests are greeted at the reception by the hotel mascot, an African Grey Parrot, Jaakko.
Please note only infants up to 2 years old can be accommodated in existing beds.
