This 3-hour guided evening canoe safari in the wilderness of Linnansaari National Park provides great scenery and enjoyment to all senses in the Finnish wilderness. The archipelago of Linnansaari is great for paddling.
Join a guided evening canoe safari with a local guide in the archipelago of Linnansaari National Park in Lake Saimaa, the heart of Finnish lake region. The maze of  islands makes canoeing a pleasure in the wild and silent surroundings. The endangered Saimaa ringed seal lives here and you should keep an eye out for them as you paddle in the park. If you are lucky you might see one laying on a rock!Your guide will bring you safely to a great 3 hours experience. First you make a plan for the day's canoeing itinerary together with the guide, after which your guide will give you advice on safety and techniques. Then you go explore the park and look for Saimaa seals as you go. You paddle round and round hundreds of islands in the magnificent scenery of the lake region. Highlights of the tour include the extraordinary silence of the National Park, potential sighting of a Saimaa seal, great scenery and the wilderness.
