Creative Cambodia - Full Day Tour with Lunch

11am - Begin your day with a workshop at Rehash Trash, a social organization of the Green Gecko Project. This incredible organization takes everyday trash from the side of the road, turning it into stunning home wares, jewelry, key chains and so much more! Take a relaxing hour at the start of your day to sit with the awesome ladies of Rehash Trash and allow them to teach you their art form while making your own souvenir to take away. 12pm - Next you will visit the incredible jewelers at the Ammo workshop. Learn a little about the organization and their training programs before sitting with your workshop leader to produce your own brass-stamped piece to keep! 1pm - Lunch Time! Your meal today will be served at Marum, a vocational restaurant and social enterprise for Friends International Inc. Named after Moringa, also known as the ‘Tree of Life’, your lunch today will help to build a new life for the students in training while enjoying a memorable dining experience of creative local cuisine using only the freshest ingredients! All profits are reinvested into the education of students in training and Kaliyan Mith social programs. 2pm - After lunch, it's time for a spot of shopping and a visit to the Made In Cambodia Market at Kings Road, which plays host for retail outlets of many social organizations and NGO's in Siem Reap. Gone are the days of cheap, tacky souvenirs from China - everything you find here is hand-made in Cambodia as the name suggests. 3pm - Cross the river for a visit to Aritsans d'Angkor, one of the largest training providers and equal opportunity employers in the country. Enjoy a guided tour of their workshops watching as their team creates masterpieces from stone, wood and silver. Move through to the painting and traditional lacquerware section to experience the entirety of the works produced onsite. Finish this tour with a spot of shopping at their in-house boutique. 4pm - Heading a little further out of town, no creative tour in Siem Reap is complete without a visit to Theam's House, which is home to one of the largest art collections in the city. Marvel, not only at the incredible and unique works, but at the stunning grounds of the property.  5pm - If time allows, you will make a quick stop at Senteurs d'Angkor taking a tour of their workshop to see how their stunning range of natural spa and beauty products are made.  6pm - Surely, by now, it's time for a refreshing beverage! Your last stop on today's tour is a visit to the Asana Old Wooden House for a cocktail-making class using locally made infused rice wine and fresh Cambodian herbs and spices. Follow your professional bartender as you learn to make 3 wonderful cocktails. Enjoy your creations in the company of your guide before returning to your hotel.

On to Cushendun Caves next where Melisandre gave birth to a dark spirit.
