Leaving Liverpool three times a week, the tour heads North to the Lake District via the M6 Motorway, in approximately two hours you will arrive in the Lake District.  As you start your Lake District tour, you will head to Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top Farm, where she wrote many of her famous children’s stories in this 17th century cottage. You will have the opportunity to go into the house (additional charge) and explore the garden and visit the shop.You will also visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, famous for its connection with Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. Onwards then, to the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, which is one of the most photographed locations in the Lake District. Soak up the stunning views looking towards the mountains at Tarn Hows.Your Lake District day tour would also not be complete without a cruise on one of the famous lakes. You can sit back and enjoy the unrivalled views of the lake and the fell ranges beyond before heading back to Liverpool.
