Warren House Inn

Pub Food in Postbridge

Marooned amid miles of moorland, this Dartmoor institution exudes a hospitality only found in pubs in the middle of nowhere. A fire that's been burning (apparently) since 1845 warms stone floors, trestle tables and hikers munching on robust food; the Warreners Pie (local rabbit) is legendary. It's on the B3212, some 2 miles northeast of Postbridge.
