Perfect for a unique day out from either London or Oxford, this tour is a great way to experience the Cotswolds in an eco-friendly way. Our Undiscovered Cotswolds Electric Bike Tour covers the best villages and countryside in the North Cotswolds, and uses quiet country lanes wherever possible. The tour is ideal for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness – whether you’re a small group, a family or friends.Our tour starts and finishes at Charlbury train station, running from 10am until 4.30pm. During the day your guide will show you a combination of classic Cotswold countryside, historical sites, pretty villages and stunning manor houses.The electric bike tour covers around 26 miles (42km). That may sound like a lot but it’s easily manageable over the course of the day for most people. The group size is limited to 5 people and we welcome children over the age of 15 (and more than 5 ft tall).

We then spend the morning travelling along the stunning Windrush Valley visiting hidden villages including Swinbrook, Asthall and the highlight of tour, the beautiful village and ancient ruins of Minster Lovell. This pretty village on the River Windrush boasts plenty of Cotswold stone and thatched roofs, as well as holding the title of being the region’s most haunted village. Minster Lovell is perhaps best known for the ruins of its 15th century hall, owned by generations of the Lovell family.Our next stop is Witney, an ancient market town famous for its woollen blankets since the Middle Ages. In Witney we will enjoy lunch (own expense) at an awarding winning Cotswolds pub where you can sample traditional ale out in the sunshine, if you’d like.After lunch your route takes you along the Evenlode Valley through some enchanting Cotswold villages back to Charlbury station. During the afternoons ride you will visit the impressive manor house of Eynsham Hall and the remains of North Leigh Roman Villa.
