The main restaurant of Watergate Bay Hotel is a smart bistro-diner with wooden booths arranged in a gentle curve, overlooking a semi-open-plan kitchen. Head chef Neil Haydock has a taste for Italian and Stateside flavours, so expect things like chargrilled flat-iron steak, caponata and shellfish succotash, alongside lots of Cornish fish. It's only open for dinner, and geared towards grown-ups.
