Bridewell Theatre

Theatre in The City

This unique small theatre started in 1994 in an old Victorian swimming pool. It's run by the St Bride Foundation, which was founded in 1891 to promote the then-vibrant printing culture of nearby Fleet St. The theatre stages evening performances by amateur and professional groups, and the Lunchbox Theatre program offers bite-sized 45-minute renditions of plays during weekday lunch hours.
